Extreme Home Makeover Contractor
Extreme Makeover: Home Edition is a reality television series providing home renovations for deserving families, hosted by Ty Pennington.
Each episode features a family that has faced some sort of recent or ongoing hardship such as a natural disaster or a family member with a life-threatening illness. The show's producers coordinate with a local construction contractor, which then coordinates with various companies in the building trades for a makeover of the family's home. That includes interior, exterior and landscaping, which is performed in seven days while the family is on vacation (paid for by the show's producers), which is documented in the episode. If the house is beyond repair, they replace it entirely. The show's producers and crew film set and perform the makeover but do not pay for it. The materials and labor are donated.

Lead Safe Certified
The new federal law mandating lead-safe practices for window installation went into effect April 22, 2010. The law requires all home improvement companies working on homes built before 1978 be certified by the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA), and follow specific procedures to prevent lead contamination.
Nationwide Window & Siding is an EPA certified contractor. Our installation crews have fully completed the required EPA training and our company practices the lead-safe procedures now required by law.
When choosing a contractor always ask to see their EPA certification. Any contractor working on a pre-1978 home without EPA certification is breaking the law and putting you and your family at risk. Violation of this federal law carries significant fines for both the contractor and homeowner.
